Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, fabrication services, and transactions with AXA Stone Designs, Inc. By placing an order or approving specifications, the client agrees to the terms set forth below.

Natural Stone & Material Variation

Natural stone is a product of nature. Color, tone, and veining variations are normal and to be expected. ALL material should be inspected prior to installation. AXA Stone Designs, Inc. assumes no responsibility once products have been installed. Always consult with a professional prior to installation.

Pool Coping & Exterior Products

Prolonged exposure to sunlight and chemicals may cause slight color changes in pool coping binding agents. This natural occurrence does not affect durability. Light sanding can restore the original color. AXA Stone Designs, Inc. is not liable for color changes or other alterations occurring post-installation.

Fabrication Based on Approved Specifications

All fabrication work is performed based on specifications approved by the client prior to production, including dimensions, materials, patterns, finishes, and any other job-specific details provided or confirmed in writing. AXA Stone Designs, Inc. is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or changed specifications submitted by the client.

Any modifications to an order after fabrication has begun may result in additional charges or an inability to accommodate the change. Approving an estimate, purchase order, or verbal confirmation constitutes acceptance of the specified details.

Client Responsibility for Confirming Details

It is the client’s responsibility to review and confirm all job details — including quantity, square footage, tile size, pattern, material type, and finish — before production begins. Final accuracy of specifications is the client’s responsibility.

For orders using client-supplied material, AXA Stone Designs, Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing defects, breakage inherent to the material, or quality issues in the supplied product. Standard fabrication breakage rates apply and are not grounds for a claim.

Quantities & Overages

Fabrication quantities are estimates. A tolerance of ±10% on square footage is standard in custom tile fabrication and does not constitute an error or defect. Clients should account for this tolerance when ordering material and planning installation.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Sales cannot be returned or exchanged. No refunds will be issued once manufacturing has started. Cancellations prior to production may be accommodated at AXA Stone Designs’ discretion and may be subject to a handling or restocking fee.

Repairs will only be made if a manufacturing defect is present and directly caused by AXA Stone Designs, Inc. Please contact AXA Stone Designs, Inc. immediately upon discovery for product inspection and repair approval.

Claims Window

Any claims regarding defects, incorrect fabrication, or order discrepancies must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of order receipt or pickup. Claims submitted after this window will not be considered. To submit a claim, contact AXA Stone Designs, Inc. with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos where applicable.

Damage After Pickup or During Transport

AXA Stone Designs, Inc. is not responsible for any damage that occurs after an order has been picked up or released to a carrier. Once material leaves our facility, responsibility for its condition passes to the client or their designated carrier. Clients are encouraged to inspect all orders at time of pickup before signing off.

Lead Times

All production lead times are estimates based on current workload and conditions at the time of order. Lead times are not contractual guarantees and may be affected by material availability, order volume, equipment, or other operational factors. AXA Stone Designs, Inc. is not liable for losses, damages, or penalties arising from delayed completion.

Payment Terms & Returned Checks

Payment terms are as stated on the invoice. A fee of $75.00 will be charged for any returned or dishonored checks. AXA Stone Designs, Inc. reserves the right to require certified funds or alternative payment methods from any client following a returned check. Overdue balances may result in orders being placed on hold until the account is current.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from transactions with AXA Stone Designs, Inc. shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Orange County, California.
